The voice of the Lord is over the mighty waters. Psalm 29:3

I’ll never forget seeing Niagara Falls as long as I live. I remember standing staring wide-eyed with my mouth wide open fascinated at that awesome sight. I couldn’t believe how huge and how powerful it was! The sound of the rushing water was so loud it was almost too much for my ears to bear.  Psalm 29:3 came to my mind – “the voice of the Lord is over the mighty waters.” He is over the mighty waters? Wow.  Powerful.  Like I said, I have never forgotten that awesome sight.  

Isaiah chapter 6 records that when Isaiah saw a vision of the Lord Jesus Christ and His awesome holiness and power it transformed his life.  He would never forget it. Isaiah responded to God’s call and  became a mighty messenger to speak God’s truth to the hard-hearted people of his day.    Even though some would reject the Message, Isaiah was to remain faithful to speak the truth and God promised that there would always be a remnant of true believers.

Will you continue to speak up for God  as His Spirit moves you although some around you might reject it?  

God is faithful and powerful. Don’t give up!
